My Approach

to being a doula is to create a warm and comfortable environment surrounding the entire family. Being intentional to know and understand every momma is important as I walk alongside families in some of the most vulnerable times of their lives.

It is an honor to serve the families of Jackson (and the surrounding cities) and I would love to meet you!

I fully support families, regardless of the outcome of their birth.        You can reach out to me even in the worst of circumstances.

I'm Laura

and I am a certified childbirth educator and birth doula serving the women and families in the Jackson Metro area - attending both home and hospital births.

I am a mom of three children, devoted wife to my first boyfriend, and lover of the Lord. It is such a joy to walk alongside women and their families in the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum season of life.

With my previous pregnancy I was set on having as much of a natural birth as possible. After arriving to the hospital, I was talked into being induced for something non emergent (something we realized after the fact) by the staff. I was so upset and disappointed that I wasn’t able to achieve the natural birth I had hoped for. After finding out about our surprise pregnancy only 10 months after the previous one, I knew I needed someone to help advocate for myself this time around. I’m so excited to have Laura with me in this next delivery! So far, she has already helped me think of stuff outside the box and question things I probably wouldn’t have without her help. If you’re on the fence about hiring a doula, here’s your sign to go ahead and hire her!
