Birth Support

Laura Crawford is a Christian doula serving families in the Jackson, MS, metro area; attending both home and hospital births. She has been a doula since attending her first birth in January 2022 - serving women and witnessing the birth of new life is one of her greatest joys. As a birth doula, Laura walks with each client to educate and encourage women in light of the gospel as they become mothers (for the first or fifth time)!

   

Care for each momma is personalized according to each family, but you can expect to walk into your delivery confident and prepared for whatever happens in your birth. Laura does not replace the support your husband wants to offer, rather, she works to help Dad feel prepared for the delivery and the role he can play in it. Additionally, her knowledge of birth and comfort measures can help you as different needs and scenarios play out in your labor and delivery.

 

*Availability is limited each month - on average accepting 2-3 clients per month while accepting just one client a month in November and December. As you consider your birth, Laura would be honored to become a part of your birth team.
